The rest of the first team, as selected by a panel of NBA media members, included Minnesota’s Rudy Gobert, Miami’s Bam Adebayo, New Orleans’ Herb Jones and the Los Angeles Lakers’ Anthony Davis.
The second team was comprised of Chicago’s Alex Caruso, Orlando’s Jalen Suggs, Minnesota’s Jaden McDaniels, Boston’s Jrue Holiday and Boston’s Derrick White, a former Spur.
Gobert was the only player to appear on all 99 first-team ballots. Wembanyama appeared on 86 first-team ballots and 12 second-team ballots.

Wembanyama’s latest honor comes amid a praise-filled May for him. Earlier this month was tabbed the NBA’s unanimous Rookie of the Year and became the first Spurs player to be named first-team All-Rookie in 12 years.
