Wilt Chamberlain is the only player other player in league history to record a 40-point triple-double while shooting at least 75% from the field, according to the Spurs. “He was absolutely phenomenal all night with his pace, being in attack mode and balancing all of it at the same time,” Spurs coach Mitch Johnson said.
Castle said what pleased him most about his outing was he didn’t have to “force any of it.” He was back in the starting lineup after coming off the bench in Thursday’s win at Dallas following a game off due to left adductor tightness.
“I feel like it just came within the game,” he said. “I started the game off well, just trying to find my teammates, you know, the way they were guarding me, being able to screen off them, get them open looks first.”|
