One of the losses that stood out to Redick was one of his son’s art projects from last year: a charcoal pencil/painting the family hung up above the stairs.
On Friday, Redick was visibly shaken and explained how difficult it was to see the remnants of their home. “I kind of had to see it for myself. I was not prepared for what I saw. It’s complete devastation… I went through most of the village and it’s all gone.”
