MIAMI — The Spurs have upgraded guard Stephon Castle from questionable to available for Monday night’s game against the Heat.
Castle received the green light to play from the medical staff after shootaround. He missed the last two games with tightness in his right hip.
The Spurs, who are 53-18 after winning their last five games in a row, can clinch the Southwest Division title with a win over the Heat (38-33) and a Houston loss at Chicago.
In other injury news, Devin Vassell remains questionable after missing Saturday’s win over Indiana with a tight right hamstring. He did, however, participate in shootaround along with Castle.
Castle, the 2025-26 NBA Rookie of the Year, enters Monday’s game averaging 16.5 points, 7.1 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals over 59 games.
