Spurs forward Keldon Johnson said he wasn’t sure if the shoulder injury that nearly kept him out of Thursday’s victory over the Nets would linger.
“We’re just taking it day-by-day,” Johnson said.
Johnson tweaked the AC joint in his left shoulder fighting through a screen during Wednesday’s win at Toronto.
Mitch Johnson pulled his top bench scorer from that game against the Raptors in the fourth quarter. Keldon Johnson was listed as questionable heading into Brooklyn before providing 13 points and four rebounds in 18 minutes.
“He was going to have to tell us he was going to play,” Mitch Johnson said. “He did that, and he set a tone.”
