SALT LAKE CITY - The Spurs have ruled out several regulars for their game against the Utah Jazz on Monday night, including Victor Wembanyama.
In addition to Wembanyama, the defending Western Conference champions will be without Carter Bryant, Stephon Castle, De’Aaron Fox, Dylan Harper, Tobias Harris, Jayden Quintance, Devin Vassell and Malik Williams.
Bryant (ankle), Fox (hip), Harris (calf) and Quintance (rehab from knee surgery) are nursing injuries, but the Spurs planned before the preseason to give several of their main players the night off for rest in Salt Lake City.
Bryant is expected to return on Wednesday night when the Spurs host the Suns in their next-to-last exhibition game.
