Ecstatic_Visual_2026:我一直在想,他去客场是不是需要一张定制的床,哈哈
Trixie_Lorraine:他在第四场大胜的比赛中只打了33分钟。
Fickle_Muffin_1320:完全正确。
Sure_Initiative9270:他需要冲击篮筐,而不是在外线投三分。
D_Hall:没错。
马刺加油 (Go Spurs Go)! Inner_Emu4716:依然相信马刺抢七晋级!

This is why we lost. 10/41 is atrocious. Highly_Regarded_AF:Julian and keldon finally show up and that happens
Distinct-Leopard-672:Keldon only showed up offensively. He had terrible defensive lapses, including the McCain 3 early in the 4th in transition.
blue-anon:We could have dealt with Vassell’s, because he’s so active on defense still. But, the other two … Yeah.
This is now multiple games this series where, before the ball is even tipped, Wemby is severely fatigued. He can’t get to the paint, his jump shot falls off a cliff, he can’t rebound, and his defense is compromised because he has no energy. I don’t know how that problem gets solved in this playoffs run.
EazyBreezee:Hate to say it but that’s part of the inexperience of this team. They don’t know what it’s like to manage fatigue in a deep playoff run. They’ve played an extra 16 games now which is just under an extra 20% of a season.
No matter how this ends, they will be better for it in seasons to come ShowBobsPlzz:Maybe my brain isn’t remembering but I dont remember playoff series always going every other day. I feel like there’s used to be 2 days between games when you had to travel.
clarkief:Yeah same here. There’s usually an extra day of rest either after game 2 or game 4. This is just non-stop right now
EazyBreezee:I too don’t remember that in the past, but I feel it’s been like that the last 2-3 seasons. 1st round there are a couple stretches with at least 2 days rest, then maybe 1 in the 2nd round and then every other day in the conference finals like they’re trying to rush through them.
Adorable-Writing3617:This - it’s like the rookie wall, Wemby never played this many games.
GabeIsGone:Bro this goes back to the regular season.
This is a trademark ‘bad sleep’ game.
If this bro has sleep problems, we need to start booking better hotels or some shit. Malemansam:It’s the travel as well. His “great” games were game 1 and game 4 where there wasn’t any travel between games. This seems like it’ll be a problem going forward through this series.
Cudizonedefense:They traveled before game 1 though? To get to OKC. There was no travel between games 1 and 2
Ecstatic_Visual_2026:I’ve been wondering if he needs a custom made bed for him on the road lol
Trixie_Lorraine:He played only 33 minutes in a blow win in game 4. It’s not like game 4 was a down-to-the-wire slugfest, the Spurs won going away. Fatigue is not a credible excuse.
HopefullyHenry:Man you guys have no heart. Who else on the team is giving as much as Wemby, having to carry both ends. And you know they shortened the rest with Kornet because they’ve been falling behind so hard when he sits. I see SGA sitting for long periods of time, Wemby gets hardly any breaks. He’s our superstar yes, but he can’t do it all by himself. There will be some games that he’s not
. All this doom and gloom for his career when he’s in his first playoffs is ridiculous.
obafuckingchauwow:People are so critical. I’m happy where our team is even if we lose
JMoon33:Yeah, Wemby’s stamina might (I don’t know for sure) be a problem his whole career. If that’s the plan, we need to plan for that when it comes to building the roster.
SaltyTurdLicker:Could also be that the coaching staff needs to figure out how to not overuse him along with actually getting him conditioned for heavy playoff minutes. Playing 25-28 mins most nights in the regular season is not going to be able to have you conditioned to go 38-42 mins playing at a high level every other day that is needed in series like this.
The almost 3 minute stretch in the 4th where the Spurs just couldn’t make anything killed a potential run AccomplishedReach111:This 100%, kept it to within 10 points and needed to go on a run and it just failed.
Well, I certainly hope that corgi is right …
Game was over first 8 minutes when Wemby came out with zero urgency and aggressiveness
imeares:Seriously like wtf was that
Fickle_Muffin_1320:This is 100% right. He was on the floor for 8 mins and he had 1 rebound and no other stats I believe. You can’t have your star player come out of the game with low effort.
I really hope the corgi is right
RedditShoes21:Corgi ain’t been wrong yet brotha!
catmeow808:I believe in this dude, He is straight up correct from the play-ins up until the conference finals… Freakin time traveler
squirrely2005:This and the corgi gives me hope
don’t know why we went away from the game plan of not over helping on shai in game 4. Just putting ourselves in constant rotation
Surviv3:This is my biggest issue too. Let Shai cook idgaf, stop letting McCain and Caruso get going
This is the first time this playoffs where I’m actually angry at the team, what a pathetic performance
We actually could’ve won the game, a lot of self inflicted mistakes
The team needs to massively step up in game 6, it’s literally win or go home diamondhorizons:This loss had little to do with the refs, and more to do with Wemby being dogshit, plus Fox being concerned with putting out puff pieces in the media instead of being useful all playoffs long.
obafuckingchauwow:The fox hate is just too much….dont!
All the rookie mistakes are showing especially on the road. Alex Caruso pissing me off man.
obafuckingchauwow:He has a very punchable face
Our lack of a solid backup bigman is killing us. Wemby never gets to take a play off on defense and offense but Chet and Hartenstein just rotate in and out with fresh legs.
T44120:Thank you, valid take.
People here can’t comprehend the fact that Wemby can’t rest because Kornet is a non factor offensively and defensively, so of course Wemby will be exhausted especially against OKC physicality
Wemby played weak. Dev missed shots. Fox missed shots. In the game where KJ & Julian showed up, they didn’t. OKC didn’t do anything special, we just couldn’t get our main g guys to show up.
Refs I think affected our pace of play with missed calls and extra calls, I saw Tony Brothers name and knew we were gonna lose. But I don’t think they were the MAIN reason. We just didn’t execute. ShowBobsPlzz:Refs fucked our momentum every time we got some. That sequence with the missed goal tend and missing mitch calling for a review is pathetic.
EZBreezy15:that was stupid & that’s where I figured Tony Brothers would come in and screw up the flow.
But, just gotta execute. Isn’t a sense that OKC is locking us, just we didn’t hit shots.
We played like absolute shit but every time we made a run refs call foul. It’s night n day from last game. I’m not worried it’s going to 7 for money
Wemby needs to be better, pathetic showing from the get go.
Sure_Initiative9270:Needs to attack the rim, not shoot 3s
We shouldn’t even mention refs. Just terrible effort from our guys.
TheBeavster_:That fourth quarter had me ripping my eyes out. Fucking abhorrent. We could’ve caught up but just kept shitting ourselves
bears123456789:Honestly if the refs let us two teams fight like dawgs without these dumb fouls this would be a great fun series.
NittanyScout:We should, poor play alone amd we could maybe close that distance. We didnt lose BECAUSE of the refs but they did us no favors and that matters in such a close series
The amount of momentum we lost this game is crazy. We cant fight through our own bs AND the refs kanyeguisada:Naw. Refs killed the momentum a couple of times, Mitch trying to call for review when the ball clearly went off Chet’s foot and they went on a run killed us. But if we are a team that can win a Conference Championship you can’t let calls let that stop your mojo.
And we just couldn’t get our mojo together as a team this whole game. They just beat us flat out. Wemby just didn’t show up. They might have had a slight ref advantage, but we just flat-out lost this game ourselves.
On to Game 6, and then likely (hopefully) the Game 7 every basketball fan has wanted all year. D_Hall:Exactly. As poor as we played, it should have been a 3 point game going into the 4th if not for some of the most baffling calls I’ve ever seen
Typical Vic. He’s a killer in the paint one game, and has a spectacular performance. This drains him though. So next game, guess what? He settles outside the paint.
He needs to become more consistent, needs to work on that stamina during the off season. It ain’t easy because of his size and how he plays both sides of the ball. But we need it.
This just in: Okc is a good basketball team and you can’t take a game off, more at 11.
acciopizza_:Team really looked uninspired today
Refs aren’t why the Spurs lost but there were definitely points of the game where it felt like they wanted to be
Here is three point shooting percentage by team per game
Spurs:
30%, 40%, 32%, 27%, 29%
Okc:
38%, 36%, 45%, 18%, 44%
Just can’t expect to win a series like this
It’s on us for sleepwalking through the first half. But goddamn they’ve shot 15% better than us from 3 all series, we live at 30%.
we played like ass but FUCK TONY BROTHERS
Those missed calls and blatant WRONG calls really killed our momentum. I sound crazy but I hope Scott Foster refs game 6.
I know it’s a bad showing from our boys and it’s frustrating to see the way they played tonight but let’s go home, eat some good food after landing, and play with everything on the line in Game 6. We learn, lose, and win altogether. It is what it is.
Refs were terrible but we were worse. This team isn’t ready to win a championship. They check out so hard when they go down and they’re tired
Refs killed our momentum, but we shouldn’t have been in that situation to begin with. Wemby just looks gassed every other game. We have to address our bench this offseason
the corgi is 5/5 so we’re gonna win the next 2 games dw y’all (copium)
To be honest, losing this game feels like a lost series, obviously I hope I’m wrong.
We had some calls go against us, but I think we just played worse. Shooting was pretty bad/mediocre besides a strong start in the first quarter.
Extremely proud that we kept fighting back, and I loved the scene where Wemby was talking to everyone on the bench with passion and fire. Even though we lost this game, we took away a lot and grew. Onwards hectorRdz1201:100%. Because it most likely is.
The team looks gassed. And to be able to pull out two straight wins, with a game 7 against the defending champs in OKC….yeaaaaah, good luck.
Don’t worry guys the corgi who predicted the series will come through
Have to admit Spurs didn’t play well, and the refs didn’t help either. That one run they had a chance for a comeback turned into a 5 point swing plus a foul because refs made so many bad calls back to back.
Every time I mad and hot during the game obviously in the heat of the moment but as soon as the game is done I remember that we weren’t supposed to be here and we are up against the defending champs who play a difficult brand of basketball that is FT heavy . We have done exceptionally well considering our age and lack of experience. As much we say it doesn’t matter it does and you can see from how Wemby approached the game and to Harper mishandling under pressure to castle rushing everything. We will learn and grow . We can still take this to game 7 but of course it will be difficult with how the refs are officiating. I would loved Wemby to have come out with force because u can see how much the team feeds off him . Onto game 6 . Congrats to the floppers and fuck the refs .
WEMBYisGOAT:For sure! It’s all gravy. We won 20 games last year.
Inexperience. Fatigue. Tony Brothers. Bad combo.
This team is capable of beating OKC. This game didn’t change that. When Vic is the best player on the floor, we win..but man..if someone else could have stepped up with Juju and Castle we might have been able to steal one.
But the truth is it comes down to Victor. If he dominates the next two games, we’ll win the series. He truly might not be ready for that level yet - and it’s completely okay if he isn’t. He’s still baby. It’s his first playoffs and he doesn’t know how to play through the mental fatigue yet and it shows game to game. We’ll see if he figures it out in the next two.
I want to see what Vic looks like in a win or go home game anyway.
God forbid the Spurs lose this chance to go the finals, but if they do it will be interesting to see if Alex Caruso doubles his post-season average as he has done against the Spurs.
If you let Alex Caruso become a 20pt a game scorer, you probably don’t deserve to win the series.
Refs were bad… But I expect more out of Wemby. He didn’t look like he wanted to be on the floor tonight.
doomers out in full force. y’all were writing off the series when we were down 2-1, and now y’all are writing off the series when there’s still games to be played.
I’m not saying criticisms of the team of how they played tonight aren’t valid because we played like shit. But I will say this: when we’re firing on all cylinders, we’re the better team. We can still win. GSG. Inner_Emu4716:It’s still Spurs in 7
i never hated a team as much as i hate okc
i think they are worse than the astros and any other team that cheated
they flop, they play dirty and the refs cheat for them.
never seen a league cheat for a team this openly and brazenly in any sport
Yeah the NBA do not want the ball to be off the air until June, it kills their revenue.
They don’t want to lose that viewership and they want to make sure the WCF winner is buttered up for that hot as hell Knicks team.
This series already has enough problems with big injuries on both sides. But this is fucking sickening to watch.
Chin up, folks! The future is bright for us, and we don’t have to resort to cheap tricks to play basketball! Spurs in 7!!
I already knew we were cooked when we found out Phony Brothers was officiating this game. But we played sloppy, plain and simple. We cannot play like this again back home in game 6.
Everyone is going to be talking about that one officiating sequence, and make no mistake, it was shameful to the game of basketball. But I think we all realize our boys didn’t deserve to win that one.
Champagnie and Keldon finally have good games, and no one else does. Can’t be doing that. pickandpopovich:i agree but man it was in the middle of a run. 3 straight bad calls and a dumbass tech killed all our momentum and also probably meant the third quarter ended 91-101 instead of like 95-97
The refs absolutely fucked our momentum in the late third. That being said, we had a whole quarter to overcome it and couldn’t. On to game 6
I think Wemby’s body is done for this playoffs. So far we get one great game and nonexistent the next.
I think he physically just can’t do it. Not a knock on him, that’s why you learn from these playoffs for next year on how to better prepare for a deep playoff run. ShakyGSWarrior:Wemby was as prepared as possible leading up to these playoffs.
GabeIsGone:This why you don’t play a bunch of SFs at PF, we relied on him too much in the paint and he got worn down. We need size inside desperately.
CStradale:Agreed - and there’s no plays for him to get open besides the double high screen PnR to the basket.
Mitch and co need to be more creative with getting him in position down low, especially against Alex Caruso.
I would say have him train with players that play bully ball. You can see Alex Caruso and other OKC players attack his mid section with their lower body on a drive and then hang in the air to get a shot off.
32 points on 7 made field goals.
I hate that we played badly enough that OKC inbreds will pretend the reffing was acceptable. Disgusting game from our players, even more disgusting game from the refs. Tony Brothers deserves [redacted]
“This is my 7’5 demigod who doesnt even need to jump to dunk. Let’s have him shoot 3s and stay behind the arc the whole game”
Mitch got ONE game left to prove something Happycappybara21:He’s been here 3 years and some you fans still think he’s a a post player. He’s not a post player. He can’t just get into the paint anytime he wants. He’s not that strong yet.
aldyei:Yeah just let him bulk up so his knees kill him like Yao’s did his.
stencil31:Come on man, you can’t be real. You really think Mitch is calling for that? Wemby had the ball in the hands so many times and did nothing with it, or failed to finish. Not Mitch’s fault.
