SACRAMENTO - The Spurs will be without starting forward Devin Vassell when they face the Kings on Tuesday night in the second game of a back-to-back.
Vassell will miss the game due to a sore left ankle after he scored 20 points and dished out four assists in 35 minutes of the Spurs’ 119-115 win over the Clippers on Monday night in Inglewood, Calif., the Spurs announced Tuesday afternoon.
Vassell, who is averaging 14.3 points per game, had played in 23 games in a row since missing 13 straight from Dec. 31-Jan. 22 with a strained left adductor.
In other injury news, the Spurs upgraded key reserves Dylan Harper (right calf contusion) and Luke Kornet (right knee soreness) from out to questionable.
Harper has missed two games in a row. Kornet was out against the Clippers.
