And that’s what you have to do in this league. And sometimes your opportunities don’t always come from where you think they’ll come or when you think they’ll come and you need to be ready at all times.”

The Spurs will now enter the buyout market to seek more shooting support. Veteran forward Georges Niang and guard Eric Gordon were recently waived by the Memphis Grizzlies and have a long track record as effective 3-point shooters.
