Spurs forward Keldon Johnson confirmed a new addition will join his farm family soon.
Johnson said in an interview last month that he would use the money he received from the Spurs reaching the NBA Cup knockout rounds to purchase a llama for his farm in Boerne.
“Llama is in transit,” Johnson confirmed during a Wednesday interview with the FanDuel Sports Network.
Spurs coach Mitch Johnson has referred to Johnson as the “heart and soul of the team.” Outside of basketball, the Virginia country boy’s heart belongs to 12 goats, four miniature cows, two horses, a miniature donkey and about six chickens — and soon a llama.
His family and best friend help care for the growing farm.

Johnson told reporters that he “hasn’t settled on a name” for the llama and is open to suggestions.
