Spurs’ Dylan Harper to face Cooper Flagg in Summer League debut
Dylan Harper’s Spurs debut is set for Saturday.
The NBA’s No. 2 overall draft pick did not play in any of the Spurs’ three games at the California Classic in San Francisco due to a mild groin injury. He has likewise been ruled out of the Spurs’ opener against Philadelphia at the Las Vegas Summer League on Thursday.
The team expects the 19-year-old Harper to take the floor for the first time Saturday against Dallas.
That game should be a big one, pitting Harper against No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg in a contest televised nationally on ESPN.
