Two former Spurs guards face off in the first round of the playoffs
Celtics guard Derrick White was drafted 29th overall by the Spurs in 2017. He played four-and-a-half seasons with the Silver & Black before being traded to the Boston Celtics for Josh Richardson, Romeo Langford, a 2022 first-round pick (which turned into Blake Wesley), and the rights to swap 2028 first-round picks. White has been a difference maker for the Celtics and a large part in during their championship run in 2024.
Last Sunday during Game 1, White led the Celtics in scoring with 30 points with four rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.
Tonight the Celtics host the Orlando Magic in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs at 6:00 PM.
