Coming off a blowout win vs the Toronto Raptors, the Spurs traveled to Detroit to take on the Pistons. After losing the first quarter by eight, the Spurs went ice cold in the second. They were outscored 30-12 and trailed the Pistons at halftime by 26. Even though they attempted to claw their way back by winning the third quarter 35-28, it was too little too late. The Pistons outscored the Spurs in the fourth and ultimately won 122-96. The Spurs shot an ice-cold 36% from the field with 31% from three, while allowing the Pistons to shoot a scorching 56% from the field and 48% from three.
Devin Vassell led the way with 26 points, six rebounds, and an assist. Dev continues his hot shooting by draining six triples. He was one of the only Spurs to show out in terms of offensive production.
