Victor Wembanyama won’t be going to San Francisco for the All-Star Game honored as a starter from the Western Conference.
The players honored as starters from the West include Golden State’s Stephen Curry, Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James, Phoenix’s Kevin Durant and Denver’s Nikola Jokic.
The East starters include New York’s Jalen Brunson, Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell, Boston’s Jason Tatum, Milwaukee’s Gianus Antetokounmpo and New York’s Karl-Anthony Towns.
The starters, who were revealed on TNT, were selected by fans (50% of the vote), current NBA players (25%) and a media panel (25%).
Durant won a close race over Wemby, who in the voting finished fourth among players, fourth among fans and second by media.
The All-Star reserves will be announced Jan. 30 on TNT. The seven players honored as reserves in each conference will be selected by NBA head coaches.

For the first time, the NBA All-Star Game will feature a mini-tournament with four teams and three games.
