If they want to stick around the Spurs would probably try to find a spot for them. Gorgui Dieng wanted to stick around and the Spurs created a mentor position for him. He’s now assistant GM of the Austin Spurs.

Unless we’ve got other plans, I have no problems bringing in a veteran, stretch big to play spot minutes.
And yeah, love the culture in SA that former players still come back in some way, shape or form.
