I don’t want to take anything away from Harper because he’s talented, and clearly an intelligent player, and I suspect a hard worker.
But Castle is typically criminally underrated when the two are being discussed.
Harper is an excellent downhill player, and better than expected defensively when asked to play 25 minutes a game. And he had a very good finals. But he’s not close to Steph’s impact and he’s pretty far behind while only being a year younger.
Stephon Castle is 21 years old and led the NBA in offensive and defensive load. And he did a good enough job at it that the Spurs went to the Finals. That’s a special basketball player.
And then he hasn’t even scratched the surface of his ceiling.

The way people disrespect Paolo is insane, Keyonte below Sarr is also crazy. Lastly, throwing 4 guys who haven’t played a game in the NBA yet in the top 8 makes no sense to me. AJ has a long way to go when it comes to improving shooting and DP needs to show he can be healthy
