As others have pointed out, the Spurs probably don’t care that Jacob cheated on his GF.
They probably weren’t thrilled it was with a player’s sister, but they didn’t fire him for that either.
The Spurs fired him because a super public infidelity scandal with a player’s sister went out over Jacob’s **OWN, heavily spurs affiliated, officially branded, instagram page.** Jacob’s IG was essentially an official Spurs media page. Hell, his ex was putting #Cheater in captions alongside 阿拉莫议事厅, etc.

He did have a contract but it likely had a clause for this. This is a cautionary tale for everyone. In the age of social media you gotta be careful with what you say, write, and photographs you appear in. Our digital footprints are rarely really private. This guy was really messy too. He cheated with a player’s sister and documented it digitally. It sucks that he lost his job after I’m sure putting a lot of work into getting to this point, but I get why they chose to let him go. Danny “had to do it one time” Green should know better than anyone that people don’t forget shit from social media lol..
