Who are the officials for Game 4 of the NBA Finals?

INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 13: NBA referee Zach Zarba #15 looks on during the first half between the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Clippers at Intuit Dome on March 13, 2026 in Inglewood, California.
Now in his 21st season as an NBA official, Zach Zarba lists Game 3 of the 2013 NBA Finals as his most memorable assignment.
Working an NBA Finals game for the first time in his career, Zarba was in San Antonio as the Spurs rained in a Finals record 16 3-pointers in a 113-77 rout of the Heat. Danny Green knocked down seven shots from beyond the arc, Gary Neal added six 3-pointers off the bench, and San Antonio contained Miami’s high-powered trio of LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.
The Spurs hope Zarba brings more good fortune in his 13th NBA Finals game, as the NBA has selected him as the crew chief for Game 4 against the Knicks at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Madison Square Garden.
Zarba has also been kind to San Antonio during the regular season, as the Spurs’ 55-31 (.640) record in games he calls is the best of any team. San Antonio is also 10-7 (.588) in the playoffs under Zarba’s watch, while New York is 42-56 (.429) in the regular season and 5-7 in the postseason (.417).
In 13 playoff games this year, Zarba has averaged 41.8 foul calls per game, ranking in the bottom 10 of 41 playoff officials, per NBAstuffer.
Zarba will be joined by referee James Williams and umpire Courtney Kirkland.
In his 14th season, Williams will be working his fifth NBA Finals game. In five playoff games on the officiating crew this season, Williams has averaged 38 foul calls per game, the fewest of any official with multiple playoff games, per NBAstuffer.
In 39 games on the crew during the regular season, his games finished below average at 38.8 fouls per game, and in 25 games as chief, his games ranked in the bottom 10 at 37.4 calls per game.
Home teams won 72% of games with him as the crew chief during the regular season, ranking sixth out of 108 officials with more than five games.
The Spurs are 4-1 in the playoffs under Williams’ watch, while the Knicks are 5-1.
Kirkland, in his 24th season, will be calling his fifth finals game.
No team in the regular season has a better record than the Spurs’ 78-33 (.703) in games Kirkland officiates, but San Antonio is just 1-2 in the playoffs with him on the call.
Home teams win 62.5% of playoff games under Kirkland’s watch in his career, including a 7-1 mark this year. But despite the discrepancy in 2026, only 50.8% of fouls have been called against away teams in those games, per NBAstuffer.
Per the NBA, the NBA Referee Operations management team selects Finals officials “based on key criteria assessed throughout the season: NBA Referee Operations grades and rankings, play-calling accuracy and team ratings.”
