De’Aaron Fox may have been born in New Orleans, but after going to high school in Houston and spending his off seasons there, a piece of his heart will always belong to the Alamo City. His wife, Recee Fox, was born in California and moved to San Antonio with her family when she was 10 years old. As the daughter of a basketball coach, Recee comes by her affinity for the game honestly. She played ball at Lady Bird Johnson High School before making the USA Basketball U-16 and U-18 national teams, earning gold twice at the FIBA World Championships.
Since then, she’s consistently stepped up as a star basketball player. After graduating high school, she became a standout player at several universities, including UCLA, Texas Tech and the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned her master’s degree. Recee later earned a shot at a WNBA training camp with the Seattle Storm, as well as internships with the Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards. Before meeting Spurs guard Dylan Harper during her time at Rutgers University, WNBA hooper JoJo Lacey kicked off her basketball career as a star high school hooper. She served as team captain at Westtown High School, where she led the team to its first Friends League championship in 23 years. From there, she played four seasons at Boston College from 2020 to 2024. She earned a career-high at the time with “22 points on 8-of-15 shooting against Boston U,” according to her bio.
She moved to Rutgers to continue her basketball career as a graduate, where she signed with the WNBA’s Washington Mystics in April 2025 after just one season. According to the Dallas Morning News, she was “so far removed” from basketball life at the university that she “didn’t even know her university was more famous for being Michael Jordan’s school.”
However unlikely the meeting was, Brittany and Harrison fell onto each other’s radars at a comfort food spot called called [B]Skis on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, N.C., while Brittany was taking summer classes and Harrison stayed on campus for basketball. The two quickly coupled up after that. They married in 2017 and had a daughter in 2021.
Brittany never stopped pursuing her career in media, earning internships and editorial positions with NBC News Bay Area, CNS News, POPSUGAR, the Sierra Club and more. She’s the founder and CEO of her own beauty and wellness brand, GoodBody Co., according to her LinkedIn.

Even as a longtime meteorologist and part-time podcast host, Anissa McLaughlin still finds the time to pour her heart into supporting her partner. In fact, her podcast — “Supporting His, Fulfilling Yours” — is all about that. “I’m excited to have candid conversations and highlight so many phenomenal women who have found the balance in supporting their partner, and fulfilling their passions and purpose,” she wrote in a February 2025 post to Instagram.
When she’s not cheering for her husband courtside, she’s scoring points as a seasoned media professional. She earned her bachelor’s degree in 2018 from the University of Southern California, studying broadcast and digital journalism. During her time at the university, she served as an anchor for the school’s weather station and a reporter for the school’s “Morning Brew” talk show. From there, she spent 2020 through 2021 working as a meteorologist in Terre Haute, Ind., for the WTHI-TV weekend weather team.
Anissa and Jordan’s relationship appears to go back as far as 2016, according to a holiday-themed post to Instagram. The two got engaged in 2021, then got hitched shortly after in July 2022.
