Yep some of y’all will get what you asked for. Nuggets have three of the biggest counters to the Spurs: pull up 3s, post big, and long strong 4s to guard Wemby. They didn’t even have their second of those in Watson. And I forgot to mention the ‘post big’ is the most skilled offensive big in NBA history who doesn’t care about taking contested jumpers. But of course pointing that out makes you a fake bandwagoner.

Even if we survive that round and advance to WCF, it’s going to be hell getting there just to meet OKC who will have cruised to that point and be fully rested.
I’m very rarely a doomer but have been following the league for 35 years and pretty much every year, playoff matchups are a major factor in determining the last team standing. Feels like we lost a major opportunity tonight to pit Denver vs OKC against each other in round 2, wearing both of them down and allowing us to only have to face one of them.

So instead of 1 game with 20 minutes for either Vic or Kornet we get either swept or 7 games against the Nuggets in 2nd round. Congratulations to the Thunder for the easiest WCF path ever and back to back chip.
