评分:A

评分:A-

Grades: San Antonio Spurs at Golden State Warriors – Game #76

The San Antonio Spurs are now the owners of an NBA-best ten-game winning streak after beating the Golden State Warriors by a final score of 127-113. Powered once again by Victor Wembanyama, the good guys improved to 58-18 on the season.

Stats: Spurs at Warriors

Spurs at Warriors – Final Grades

Victor Wembanyama

Wembanyama played fewer than 29 minutes but was still absolutely dominant. He was an unbelievable 14-for-16 from two-point range and 7-for-8 from the free throw line. The Frenchman added 18 defensive rebounds and three blocks while disrupting everything on that end of the court. Wembanyama also finished without a turnover or a foul. All told, he’s probably playing the best basketball of his young career right now. He’s coming out of the gates on fire and staying hot throughout the duration of the game.

Grade: A

De’Aaron Fox

Fox made it look easy on his way to 11 points, four rebounds and four assists in 25 minutes. He shot well from all depths, made good decisions with the ball in his hands and was above average on defense. Fox got banged around a bit but always came back looking sharp. He’s playing more off the ball recently and he’s still finding ways to positively impact the proceedings.

Grade: B

Stephon Castle

Castle is being forceful, powerful and confident and the results are difficult to ignore. In what was another impressive performance, he had 15 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds while playing solid defense. His playmaking is great; he’s seeing the floor really well. Castle is still turning it over a bit too much but they are mostly forgivable miscues. Let’s hope he continues to shoot this well and play this well overall once the playoffs roll around.

Grade: A-

Devin Vassell

Vassell got off to another slow start and never really recovered offensively. He finished with eight points on eight field goal attempts. The good news is that his passing was better than normal and his effort on defense was really high. Vassell is only 4-for-17 in his last two games so let’s hope he heats back up soon.

Grade: C

Julian Champagnie

To say Champagnie was aggressive on the offensive end would be an understatement. He shot 13 three-pointers in 26 minutes. The bad news is that he only made four of them and was 5-for-15 overall from the court. I liked his overall wherewithal on both ends but he might have been a smidgen too aggressive on this night.

Grade: C

Harrison Barnes

Better. Barnes hit half of his six three-point tries on his way to 13 points on seven field goal attempts. He also totaled six rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes, although there were still a few passes and rebounds he missed. Overall, Barnes played a clean brand of basketball and it was good to see him show some life scoring-wise.

Grade: B

Keldon Johnson

It wasn’t the most efficient night for Johnson. He was only 2-for-6 on three-pointers and 1-for-5 on two-pointers. He did his 3-of-4 free throws and only turned it over once. That said, Johnson’s rate of rebounds and assists were low. In fact, he has only five rebounds in his last three games. Let’s hope he recovers in that area sooner than later.

Grade: C

Dylan Harper

The good: Harper was 6-for-9 from two-point territory and hit his only free throw attempt. He had five assists in 24 minutes and was very active on the defensive end. When the ball was in his hands, it seemed like something good almost always happened. The bad: Harper was 0-for-2 from three-point range and turned it over a bench-high three teams.

Grade: B

Carter Bryant

Bryant missed all three of his three-point attempts and didn’t attempt a two-pointer. Offensively, the rookie simply didn’t look comfortable. Defensively, he was a lot better. He had a pair of blocks and was impactful on the perimeter and on the interior.

Grade: C+

Mason Plumlee

With Kornet out, Plumlee got some minutes in the rotation. It didn’t go especially well. He wasn’t terrible but his positive possessions were few. He looked slow and unskilled.

Grade: D+

Mitch Johnson

It was another easy win while keeping the minutes totals in check. Coach Mitch adjusted well throughout the game and the team had answers for whatever the Warriors threw at them defensively.
