I love these old throwback finds.
Back in 1995, Doc Rivers was playing in San Antonio with the Spurs. He had a heck of a game, and at the final buzzer, was interviewed court side by none other than Warren Moon.

For context (or those who are too young to know), Warren Moon is one of the NFL’s great quarterbacks. His story is epic. He played twenty-three season between the Canadian football League and the NFL. He spent most of his career with the Houston Oilers (that one should separate the old-timers from the pups). After going undrafted, he started with the Edmonton Eskimos before the NFL called on him.
He is the only former player inducted to both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. Also the first African-American quarterback and the first undrafted quarterback to join the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
In 1995, Moon served as a TNT sideline reporter while still an active NFL quarterback.
As for the interview, the gigantic blue curtain behind Moon and Rivers is the dead giveaway that the Spurs were still in the Alamodome, another kickback for old school fans.
The highlights also reveal the blue and pink Fiesta-themed era of the Spurs.
