A better late than never post
I drove by this Southtown hotspot recently and realized and noticed that the mural of Wemby I had seen previously was no more.

The one above, painted by Colton Valentine, had graced the popular bar since Wemby had joined the Spurs. But sometime (from the X post, I’m guessing just over a year ago), the Southtwon hotspot got a facetlift.

During it’s original incarnation, the Spurs big man made a visit for a photo op.
He also painted a mural of Chris Paul.

No reason was given for the update.
It is of note that this mural of the Spurs present (and future superstar) faces another building which features a mural of the Big 3 from the Spurs dynasty years at 807 S. St. Mary’s.
Worth a drive through Southtown if you ever make mit this way.
