Victor Wembanyama’s mural at Southtown 101 was given an update
I drove by this Southtown hotspot recently and realized, I never posted when they changed their Victor Wembanyama mural.
The one above, painted by Colton Valentine, had graced the popular bar since Wemby had joined the Spurs. But sometime (from the X post, I’m guessing just over a year ago), the Southtwon hotspot got a facelift.

During it’s original incarnation, the Spurs big man made a visit for a photo op.
Valentine also painted a mural of Chris Paul.

No reason was given for the update.
It is of note that this mural of the Spurs present (and future superstar) faces another building which features a mural of the Big 3 from the Spurs dynasty years at 807 S. St. Mary’s.
