The NBA announced Wednesday the Spurs will play at Portland on Dec. 13 and against Minnesota at home on Dec. 15 after Tuesday night’s 104-93 loss at Phoenix eliminated them from the NBA Cup.
The Spurs will face the Trail Blazers at 9 p.m. at the Moda Center.
The game against the Timberwolves is set for 6 p.m. at the Frost Bank Center. It kicks off a three-game homestand that includes outings against Atlanta on Dec. 19 and Portland on Dec. 21.
Both games will air locally on FanDuel Sports Network and can also be heard on WOAI 1200-AM. Spanish language radio broadcasts of each game with will be carried by KXTN AM-1350.
Devin Booker’s 29 points led the Suns past the Spurs.
Phoenix prevailed despite losing Kevin Durant with 3:51 left in the second quarter to an ankle injury. He finished with 13 points.
Devin Vassell led the Spurs with 25 points off the bench. Stephon Castle tallied 16.
Victor Wembanyama scored 15 points, all in the second half, and had 13 rebounds. He missed all seven shots in the first half, six from 3-point range.
