A number of other Spurs attended Saturday’s game at DKR, which sits across the street from the Moody Center where the Spurs will play a pair of 2024-25 regular-season “home” games in February. This will mark the third straight season Austin’s two-year old basketball arena will host the Spurs for the “I-35 Series.”
Though the Spurs have cozied up to the Longhorns of late – Manu and Mamu firing the cannon didn’t exactly sit well with many UTSA fans – a few players did show some love to the local program. Sixth-year forward Keldon Johnson, at least, donned a custom orange Roadrunners jersey with his new No. 0 for the game.
