2K大概从2K14开始就走下坡路了。
强行把新秀的初始评分定在80左右，把一切都搞砸了。

2k went downhill since like 2k14.
It just fucks everything up to have to start rookies at like an 80
It used to be players could be like 68-78

This happened to Madden and Fifa or whatever the hell they call it now as well. 99 used to be a create a player with 10 straight MVPs level of insane talent on Madden and now they just give the top 5-10 players 99 overall and call it a day. I imagine they ran the numbers and found out people buy their games more when they see their team has flashy high stat players, or their favs are more useable online.

I think on top of appeasing the fans they have to keep the players happy too.
No player wants a low ranking. No rookie wants to be a 68 on 2k
