Some of these takes just HAVE to be belated April Fools’ jokes, I refuse to believe anybody knowing even the slightest thing about the NBA could have written that one with a straight face.
On the actual topic: Our FO might discuss a possible pay cut to keep the core of Wemby, Castle and Harper together. Might not seem likely that Wemby would accept this, but let’s not forget that Duncan, Ginobili and (I think) also Parker took pay cuts to keep playing and winning chips together. Wemby, Castle and Harper could decide to do the same, they’ll get generational wealth, anyway.

It’ll take 2 years to kick in and the the following years will be Castle followed by Dylan. I also am skeptical that all three will be all nba players on the same team so their is a strong chance one if not both of them get big contracts that are not max… plus their issome incentive to stay with bird rights and restricted free agency. By the time castle is getting paid (3 years from now) I think we will know if Fox is here to stay or not as well as the realized or unrealized potential of castle and harper.
