It’s especially weird as we’ve already seen what the Spurs did after losing a Finals series. They didn’t go and blow up the team, on the contrary they kept most of their rotation, let a few players go and signing others in their stead, and simply kept their eyes on the prize all season long.

i would love it if they somehow manage to keep vassell here for his entire career (considering a lot of these younger guys will need to get paid as well in the years to come). he’s such an elite roleplayer and he’s been here for so long that i genuinely can’t imagine him wearing another jersey.
