Weary_Restauranter:很好的观点。

pick 20th is high risk high reward
pick 26th is high floor low ceiling ticarus3:Exactly.
We made the finals w out him. We traded back into the first and drafted a 6.10 PF/Center who can play day 1.
If he even sniffs wha ppl said about him pre injury we got an absolute steal. If he isn’t healthy or stinks we still have what we need
I don’t think anyone can be mad at that dart throw at 20. Weary_Restauranter:Good take.
Hoping for him he develops like we expect Legitimate-Garlic325:Exactly my mindset. If he’s bad we have Reed and we can look for other answers later. We don’t truly need him now and if he gets healthy and stays that way he will be a long term solution for a serious team need.
I’m completely pleased with the decisions made during the draft. ApprehensiveHead7027:I think getting Tarris Reed makes the gamble worth it. I think he is gonna be great for the team and if Jayden ends up being a great as he is projected to be a are going to be so damn stacked
Papa_Huggies:Same as how Denver took MPJ at 14th.
Now not everytone will pan out liek MPJ, but might as well try.
Call me crazy but I don’t think it’s as huge of a risk as people think. I literally have 100% faith in the Spurs medical team. We pioneered “resting”, have gotten miles out of older stars, we nailed the Kawhi knee problem, got Djuan Blair’s knees right, got Zach Collins ankle right. I’m betting we get this right too. Plus I think he’s gotta be super raw. I mean he really only had one year of college play. He’s got a lot to learn and nothing but time on his hands.
Pisshands:He’s 18, a gigantic child. There’s still so much time left for him to develop his game and physicality. What a steal at 20.
WEMBY_F4N:Kentucky rushed him back so he could play. He’ll have a chance to fully heal from it now.
Might take a while maybe even the whole season but i’m also confident he will be good in the long run Olsanch:Right? He’s only 18. He can heal fully from that injury and have a long productive career.
I think top 10 talent is underselling it tbh. Dude was straight up dominant in his freshman season at Arizona State on defense with a lot of flashes on offense too
And then in his debut at Kentucky he made a very good big man and fellow first round pick in Zuby Ejiofor look pedestrian on both ends. Was 18 years old then and not even close to 100% healthy
