The 6-foot-10 center enters the NBA with some extra motivation after his college career at Connecticut ended with a loss to Michigan in the national championship game.

Reed’s pedigree at Connecticut will also pay off with his connection to Spurs guard Stephon Castle, who won a national title with the Huskies in 2024.
Reed spent his first two college seasons at Michigan, arriving at Connecticut to play under Dan Hurley the year following Castle’s departure.
