NBA names Spurs’ Dylan Harper Western Conference Rookie of the Month
The NBA has named Spurs guard Dylan Harper its Western Conference Rookie of the Month for February.
The No. 2 overall selection of the 2025 NBA Draft averaged 12.5 points and 4.9 assists per game while shooting 55.4% from the field in helping the Spurs go 11-0.
Charlotte’s Kon Knueppel was the top rookie in the East after averaging 21.5 points and 5.7 rebounds.
Harper’s strong month came after he slumped in January.
“He’s really getting confident and comfortable in the league,” Spurs guard Devin Vassell said. “He went through a stretch where maybe he just wasn’t himself. He wasn’t mentally wherever he is at now. But right now he’s turned that corner, and he’s being ultra-aggressive. That’s what we need from him.”
