They pulled out all the stops, including starting the game with their mascot banking a drum, similar to the Spurs new postgame tradition.

However, despite just going viral last night with many believing they were mocking the Spurs, it was noted by Thunder fans and confirmed that OKC’s ritual predates the Spurs’ by at least a few years.

It wasn’t the only time the Thunder were overly aggressive with the Spurs big man. Victor his the hardwood multiple times throughout the game.
Eventually, Steph Castle had enough and gave SGA a shove after he interfered with his ability to inbound the ball off a made basket, earning both players a technical.
It didn’t go way the Spurs had hoped, but as it stands, San Antonio will probably be the only team to win a season series against the reigning champs.
