As a Kings fan this is the downside of Fox and Barnes, but fundamentally this is a spacing issue leading to bad shot quality imo. Better 3pt shooting leads to better looks all around

It’s clear that the Spurs are improving much quicker than anticipated. That said, I would not ruin chemistry by making big roster changes in the middle of this season. Unless there is a deal that’s too good to pass up on (e.g. Fox trade), I would stand pat.
This season is already a major win and a step in the right direction. Better to be mindful with our assets and think in terms of long-term contention, not just winning a playoff series or two.

Every Barnes minute is a wasted minute.
I understand trying to keep players in rhythm and not change rotations but he has been hot garbage for almost a full month now.
Bench his ass until he learns how to shoot again and give Sochan a chance for redemption.

1. First game in a while we just weren’t in it in the end.
2. Turd quarter was the entire difference. When the other team has momentum, you just can’t play into the teeth of their defense.
3. Slight bounce back game from the guards in terms of overall production but of course they still need to be better (especially from max contract Fox).
4. Wemby erases Chet. Too bad the rest of the team didn’t come along.
5. Barnes. I love you Unc but it may be time to move on. At minimum, I don’t think he’s a starter on a contender anymore.

It sucks that it’s coming during an otherwise struggle-filled part of our season, but you had to expect the Thunder to finally land a game like this against us at some point. Thankfully the schedule finally opens up a bit for us here, no more crazy travel or b2bs for a minute.
Hope our guys can be a little more rested come the next one in Feb (with more wins under the belt too), the schedule has been crazy for the last 10ish weeks now

The NBA is going to end one of the greatest players we’ve ever seen 10 years too early if they keep officiating like this. Physical game for sure, and OKC had some good quality ball movement Spurs defense can learn to adjust to.
Facts to remember:

1. Spurs up 3-1 and own the tiebreaker in any scenario
2. Spurs are #2 in the West and got beat by the #1 team
   3 . is father. Forever. and ever. and ever.
   I love the fight throughout the 4th to close the gap, “never give up and never surrender!” mindset needs to be built over time!

I think 53 percent of our offensive woes would be solved by actually playing our 50 million dollar point guard at point guard. Castle had a pretty good game so I don’t wanna harp on him but he just can’t be the main ball handler, it’s unacceptable coaching. Beyond that we’ve got a real issue in Barnes (duh)

Yeah I don’t understand why Castle is the main ball handler when he’s on the floor with Fox and they just have Fox stand in the corner and do nothing. Castle is 5th in the NBA in turnovers per game and everyone else in the top 10 plays more minutes. Give Fox the ball please.

Is Fox really worth a max contract? Every once in awhile he will “take over” for part of a game but then he just disappears for long stretches. He’s too inconsistent.
