Lumpy_Rice_2803:尚帕尼可不是什么无名之辈,朋友!
douchey_mcbaggins:按任何人的标准来看,他们都打得非常糟糕。
liuetenant_dan324:他得到了!

Post Game Thread - NBA: The Spurs defeat the Knicks on Dec 31, 2025, the final score is 134-132.
I’m so shocked we won this game after the awful first half and Wemby going out injured
Julian Champagnie redemption game, he set a new San Antonio Spurs franchise record, 11 3’s in a game! He carried us in the end
De’Aaron Fox was also huge in the 4th quarter
So proud of this team, showed so much passion and fight today
I’m praying Wemby is okay, I’m choosing to believe he is. He told the fans before walking out he’s fine and then he walked normally to the bench and looked to be in good spirit. Please dear God tell me it was nothing serious
Happy New Years everyone! Go Spurs Go! WEMBY_F4N:It’s not serious since he’s on the court doing the post game celebration. But I think he misses some time
murkymurk94:I would be okay him missing this first back to back but hopefully that’s all.
ITDrumm3r:Don Harris reported that it was a hyperextended knee but should be back for the next game!!! Even if he only misses a couple of games we escaped something horrible.
Kaelanna:They’ll need to scan for ligament damage and even if there is none it’s much better than what Jokic was fearing to have which was a torn ACL
Even without ligament damage there’s still pain. It’s probably at least a couple of weeks Matzeeh:The rest of the team shot 3/21 from deep. Thats a bit worrying ngl.
Armanewb:1/19 if you exclude Wemby… yikes.
MikeyBastard1:Devin was sorely missed this game. Even just the threat of his three ball plays a role in opening up the paint because it prevents the strong/weak side from over helping.
ajkelly451:Glorious performance by Champ. Someone in this sub was dissing him pretty hardcore today. Can’t express how elated I am for him to make them eat their words.
PanthalassaRo:Knicks fan here, fun game! Hope Wemby just had a minor scare and is healthy going forward.
Hope seeing you in the finals!
VICTOR WEMBANYAMA TONIGHT:
31 PTS
13 REB
10-12 FG
2-2 3PT
24 MIN
Wembanyama got his revenge against the Knicks Matzeeh:Him walking around and smiling saved my night
loombisaurus:leadership all day
Looked like Brunson asked Wemby if he was alright and Wemby responded with “I’m good”.
captainbean:Very sweet of Brunson to check in on him.
ChaoticReality:Knicks and Spurs players don’t really have any bad beef IMO. They can play annoyingly but aint trying to fuck up and injure players like the Thunder lol
captainbean:Absolutely. They don’t have a Dort on their team trying to crush people’s ankles or anything, and they’re actually pretty fun to watch.
GaptistePlayer:Both teams showed a lot of respect to each other after the game, I liked that
CharacterKatie:I have to live amongst Knicks fans and have hated them for as long as I can remember but even I must admit that Brunson is a likable guy
Shout-out to Mitch for benching Castle down the stretch. Tough decisions needed to be made, and he did. Castle will bounce back.
Knicks in San Antonio = getting beat by a 1 random player. Mamu last year, Julian this year
Lumpy_Rice_2803:Champy ain’t no random player son!
DrunkLegere:Neither is mamu!
seedtooth:Also some French dude dropped 40 on them the year before
Bonesawisready5:Would’ve dropped 40 again if KAT hasn’t pushed him
DriveForFive219:Yeah and the knicks always got a random dude going crazy. Tonight it was McBride
onyajulian:And of course Spurs killer Jordan Clarkson
I’m gonna need an injury update on Wemby immediately.
Julian Champagnie legacy game. BarrackLesnar:Must be not serious cause he came back to the bench. But I am expecting him to miss a few games
The refs literally tried to make this game end in 2026 local time
WEMBY_F4N:Gifted McBride 3 free throws it’s hilarious man
jackman_fan:Lol guess they had no NYE plans
TimDunkinDonut:Genuinely investigate all 3 of them. Defenders couldn’t do jack shit tonight
Julian Champagnie in the win vs. the Knicks tonight:
36 PTS
6 REB
0 AST
0 STL
1 BLK
11-17 FG (65%)
11-17 3PT (65%)
3-3 FT (100%)
+24 in 36 MIN
Julian is now the best shooter on the planet. ChaoticReality:If he can stay consistent that’d be great
Shoutout to Mitch Johnson for keeping Julian and De’Aaron in when they were hot in the 4th and not resorting to Steph and Dylan who had terrible games for their standards
douchey_mcbaggins:They had terrible games for ANYONE’S standards. 2/15 from the floor, but at least Steph had 7 assists.
STILL ON TRACK FOR 73-9
WAY TO CLOSEEEEEE BANG THE DRUMMMMM
legacy game, no more slander allowed
Mr 100 with the reverse jump shot
get better soon
Lastly, LAMAR THEIS COMING HOME TO
Happy new year familia!!
GO SPURS GO! loombisaurus:truly wild that at 3mil a year there’s ppl who think he doesn’t belong on the roster
Dawg idk how we pulled that off
Matzeeh:Popped the Champagnie
Both a frustrating and an amazing game. Showing some fight after losing Victor. Love to see that from the team
GO LLAMAS GO
Please let’s not forget wemby’s game
Sometimes it feels like it’s become easier to say “wow, this team is so strong without Wemby” even though Wemby literally carried us the entire game
I’m very grateful Wemby does those insane stretches and stuff like that. I expect him to be out for a lil bit but looks like he’s good
fireemblem4812:I legitimately think his stretches are the reason he was able to be back on the bench so quickly. Basically, his whole stretching routine means that when stuff like this happens, he bends rather than breaks.
Was very, very happy to see him come back out to the bench before the game was over.
#Julian deserves the drum banging
liuetenant_dan324:HE GOT IT
I want you guys to know I haven’t tuned in to a Spurs game since Christmas. I saw y’all haven’t been able to hold it down, so I tuned in the 3rd quarter. You are welcome. Have a happy new year!
Mitch has gotten shit for his lineups lately, but this looked like a must-win game to stop a 3 game slide, against a team that was effectively game planning our two non-shooting slashers out of the game, and the solve was cutting Harper & Castle’s minutes (one or both usually close). Closed the game with De’Aaron, Luke, Keldon, Champagnie, Barnes - experience, four out shooting + the big.
I think what people can’t accept is that the rest of the time a lot of the lineup decisions are trying to balance winning with player development. We got a glimpse today of what Mitch will do when we positively need the W.
Don’t be shocked if, when the playoffs roll around, there will be series where Castle and Harper get their minutes cut in a similar way, and we lean really really heavily on Fox and Wemby, also with an increase of Devin and Keldon minutes. Dylan and Stephon have both been very good overall, but becoming good enough to play big minutes consistently in playoff games without being killed by teams making adjustments - that’s so, so hard for young point guards. It takes years. They’re probably going to be role players rather than the engine in those big games, unless there is drastic shooting improvement before then.
They both look like they’re gonna be awesome, our new Tony and Manu, but they’re at equivalent development of the 2002-3 versions of those two guys.
**Julian CHAMPAGNE**
Knicks fans crying in every thread about free throws lmao. Maybe don’t foul 30 times?
I still don’t like a lot of the energy/effort/body language that I’ve been seeing from a lot of the guys, but tonight they showed something that was definitely missing from the last matchup against the Knicks: Grit. The Spurs kept trying, even though it was fairly obvious that outside of Champ/Vic, nobody was really fully into this one. Fox provided a steady hand down the stretch, and Keldon/Kornet provided some key toughness moments inside. Good on Mitch for managing lineups, because Castle, Harper, and Bryant just weren’t it tonight (Castle in particular really needs to get over not getting foul calls. The best way to get a whistle is to keep going at it and scoring without one. It’s not a coincidence that most “foul merchants” are star-level talents). If Olynyk hadn’t been getting cooked on D, Barnes would’ve rode the pine as well. On to the next one, the Pacers should be a good “get your head together” matchup. They’re bad enough to where a win shouldn’t really be in doubt, but also play fast enough to where our guys will have to play with some tempo. Hopefully that brings them out of their funk.
With Wemby…can we finally start trusting the front office/team doctors now and stop pining for hype, individual awards, and league recognition? You’d think the House that D-Rob & Duncan Built would be above it, but I guess not. I’m not saying that Wemby is injury prone, nor am I blaming the injury on him being out there. Things happen. But I am saying that we should stop acting like being cautious with Wemby is stupid or an insidious plot to ruin his legacy and cheat him out of money. The guy is 7’5". Yes, he’s a genetic freak, but if Father Time is undefeated, Human Physiology has at least a 95% hit rate. It’s not unreasonable to look at Wemby and go “99% of players with your height, let alone build, either didn’t last very long or had their athleticism/mobility melt away until they were a shell of themselves. We’re going to do our damnedest not to let that happen to you.” If that means bringing Wemby off the beach for an extended amount of time, then so be it. If the difference between Wemby playing 65 games and being available for the playoffs or not is 20-25 games coming off of the bench, I’m okay with that.
