Massive shoutout to Luke Kornet tonight! Dude took on Edey basically the whole game, got hit in the face 3 separate times including an elbow from Edey, and still came away with 5 blocks, 6 rebounds (4 offensive rebounds), and 4 assists!
We 1000% do not win this game without him, he rocked it tonight!

I can’t believe we locked him in for 4 years at only 10 million a year. The rest of the league is constantly complaining they can’t find any decent centers and yet they just let us sign him for that excellent contract? Spurs FO masterclass yet again.
And technically his contract’s not even fully guaranteed for the last 2 years, but I’m 100% expecting him to be here for all 4 years, he’s literally exactly what we need as a backup big.

Nice win at home. I thought Harper, Sochan and Keldon made some awesome plays off the bench in the fourth which were crucial. Obviously Barnes was massive.
There were too many defensive mistakes in the third quarter but we got over the line, Fox clutch at the end which was awesome to watch.
I’ll say it again - 7 turnovers, that will get it done.

Jeremy shutting down the haters. A lot of people were questioning his defensive skills but he managed to show it against a pretty huge backcourt in Edey and JJJ. All he needs is to get his confidence back.

I had to watch the Grizz broadcast because the site I use never has the Spurs broadcast, but they were shockingly tolerable, and were seriously gushing over Fox. Tough win for the Spurs, to boot, and the announcers weren’t even mad, even going so far as to being quite happy about going 3-1 on this road trip of theirs.

Mitch had some good calls in there, but also some misses.
Good: our small ball backup lineup was a good choice, the timeout on the last keldon trap
Bad: no challenge on kornet foul (clear block), there was about 2min in the 4th where he didnt bring kornet back on in time and edey was being gaurded by our forwards

Love everything he does on the court. Zero turnovers tonight with a good number of assists. He’s a real point guard in terms of court vision, decision making, and breaking down a defense. elite ability to drive and finish at the basket. (Two nights ago the wolves broadcast team was gushing about this facet of his game.) Even his defense has been good, I noticed him blanketing guys several times on that end tonight. If he becomes just a decent three point shooter when teams leave him open … he could be a legit perennial all-NBA team guy, full stop.

Unc carrying us. I love the next man up attitude but someone has gonna take the scoring weight off him lol. He really was Mr. 100 tonight though. Weird to think Harrison Barnes has become one of my favorite Spurs role players/vets.
Fox clutch 3 to ice the game was so elite. Love this dude so much. He’s ironically slow to start every game but once he clicks online he’s a killer.
