A day after spending the second round of the draft as an observer, the Spurs on Friday started filling out their Summer League roster with a couple of undrafted free agent signings.
The Spurs selected Marquette guard Kam Jones on Thursday with the 38th overall pick for Indiana after the teams worked out a trade before Wednesday’s first round.
The Spurs reportedly received the Pacers’ 2026 second-round pick and cash in a deal that has not yet been finalized.
On Friday, the Spurs began adding players to their Summer League roster with a pair of 3-point threats, signing Southern Cal forward Chibuzo Agbo and LSU guard Cam Carter.
Both players shot nearly 40% from deep last season.
A 6-foot-7, 215-pound forward, Agbo averaged 11.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists as a senior while shooting 39.6% from deep on 5.8 attempts and 86.6% at the free throw line.
Agbo, a San Diego native who started his college career at Texas Tech, shot 40.2% and 40.9% from beyond the arc in his two seasons at Boise State before moving to USC as a graduate transfer.

Carter declared pro after a strong junior season for the Tigers in which he averaged 16.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists while connecting on 40% from downtown on 6.4 attempts.
The 6-3, 185-pound guard from Donaldsville, La., played at Mississippi State and Kansas State before transferring to LSU.
Agbo and Carter will join Spurs’ lottery picks Dylan Harper (No. 2 overall) and Carter Bryant (14th overall) at the California Classic at San Francisco’s Chase Center from July 5-8. The Spurs will be joined in the Bay Area by Golden State, Miami and the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Spurs will also play in the Las Vegas Summer League from July 10-20 at UNLV. All 30 NBA teams participate in that showcase of young talent.
The NBA announced the Spurs’ Vegas schedule Friday. It includes games against some marquee rookies, including Dallas’ Cooper Flagg (No. 1 overall) and Philadelphia’s VJ Edgecombe (third overall).
The Spurs kick off their action in Sin City against the 76ers at 9 p.m. on July 10 in a game set to be broadcast by ESPN. They face the Mavericks at 3 p.m. on July 12 in another ESPN game.
The Spurs will face Utah and possibly Ace Bailey (No. 5 overall) at 7:30 p.m. on July 14 on NBA TV.
At 6 p.m. on July 17, the Spurs will take on Charlotte and Kon Knueppel (No. 4 overall) on ESPN.
All of the Spurs’ games will be played at Thomas & Mack Center on the UNLV campus.
Each team in Vegas will play play at least five games, with the first four from July 10-17. The Spurs’ fifth game has not been scheduled yet.
After each team’s first four games, the top four teams advance to the Summer League playoffs.
