The Spurs 2022 draftee turned 22 yesterday
Yesterday, Spurs Malaki Branham turned 22-years-old. I was so obsessed with the NBA Playoffs that even my calendar reminder hit snooze.
My apologies, Malaki, you deserve better.
Found this highlight compilation someone put together to honor him.
As the team continues to build around Victor Wembanyama, Malaki has seen his role diminish. But don’t let that fool you, Branham is a beast off the bench with a quick trigger, hops, fancy footwork, and a nice floater.
He’ll be looking to clain his spot in the rotation once the dust on the NBA draft and free agency clears.
