Second-round rookie Harrison Barnes had 10 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and a steal, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the Austin Spurs from falling, 118-112, to the Stockton Kings on Sunday night in the G League Western Conference Finals in Stockton, Calif.
Malachi Flynn led Austin with 29 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. Two-way guard David Duke Jr. added 21 points and five rebounds while Kyle Mangas finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals.
The Spurs fell despite leading 52-45 at halftime. In the third quarter, the Kings shot 72.7% from the field to carry an 88-75 lead into the fourth.
Austin outscored the Kings 37-30 in the final frame and cut the deficit to three points late but were unable to complete the rally.
Ingram, who signed a two-way contract with the Spurs last July, also had a double-double (16 points, 14 rebounds) in helping Austin down the Salt Lake City Stars, 123-113, last Thursday night at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park to advance to the conference finals.
