John Schuhmann, NBA.com — 23 (上周: 23)
Brett Siegel, Clutch Points — 21 (上周: 21)

Week in Review: Spurs find new life in unexpected places to keep postseason hopes alive
Unexpected sources — such as defense and Mamu — contributed to one of the most fun weeks of the season.
Welcome to the Week in Review: a Monday feature that looks back at the week that was for the San Antonio Spurs, takes a look at the week ahead, and more. Enjoy!
Week 21: In a week where all four games were at home against bad teams, the Spurs exploded on offense but only managed to split the results based on if they held their opponents to under 120 points. They did just that in one matchup with the Mavs and against the Pelicans but gave up an average of 139 points in their two losses (to the Mavs and Hornets).
Week 22: 3-1 (31-39, 13th in West)
109-125 loss at Los Angeles Lakers (makeup game)
Recap: In a rescheduled game due to January’s Los Angeles wildfires, the Spurs played hard and with energy against the new-look Lakers, but despite no LeBron James, they were simply outclasses by old nemesis Luka Doncic while Stephon Castle dealt with foul trouble.
120-105 win vs. New York Knicks
Recap: In one of the most fun games of the season, the Spurs beat up the Knicks by getting out big in the first half, then using some Mamu Mania to hold on in the second. By the end of the game, in which his father, brother and good friend Flava Flav were all in attendance, Sandro Mamukelashvili — who had 34 points on 13-14 shooting, 7-7 from three in 19 minutes of play — was etched into the record books for scoring the most points in under 20 minutes in NBA history, among other milestones.
128-120 win vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Recap: Facing a skeleton crew 76ers team with nothing left to play for except trying not to cede their top-6 protected pick to the Thunder, the Spurs started the game strong and had built a decent lead early in the second half… before taking their foot off the gas for one of their signature turd quarters. Fortunately, they woke back up in fourth to take the game back for their second straight win.
123-89 win at Toronto Raptors
Recap: In a rare defensive showing for this team, the Spurs played suffocating defense all night against a struggling raptors squad while playing complimentary team offense to cap off their second three-game winning streak of the season. It was a perfect end to the Spurs’ best week of 2025.
Power Rankings
John Schuhmann, NBA.com— 23 (last week: 23)
OffRtg: 114.1 (15) DefRtg: 115.7 (25) NetRtg: -1.7 (21) Pace: 100.1 (14)
The Spurs have won three straight games for the first time since Thanksgiving, with eight players averaging double-figures over the winning streak.
Three takeaways
The Spurs have been the league’s fourth most-improved offensive team, scoring 4.8 more points per 100 possessions than they did last season. They lost Victor Wembanyama at the All-Star break, but have scored 6.3 more per 100 since the break (118.7, sixth) than they did before it (112.4, 16th). That’s been the league’s fifth-biggest post-break jump.
Among the nine players who have played at least 500 minutes for the Spurs, Harrison Barnes and Chris Paul rank eighth and ninth, respectively, in usage rate. But the offense has been at its best with the two veterans on the floor.
The Spurs have scored 6.6 more points per 100 possessions at home (117.2, seventh best) than they have on the road (110.6, ninth worst). That’s the league’s biggest home-road differential on offense. Among 180 players with at least 200 field goal attempts both at home and on the road, Barnes has the third biggest effective-field-goal-percentage differential (65.6% vs. 54.6%).
The Spurs beat the Knicks on Wednesday, but are still just 11-22 against the 14 teams that are currently over .500. They’ll play eight of their next 10 games against that group, a stretch that includes two games each against the Cavs and Warriors.
Brett Siegel, Clutch Points— 21 (last week: 21)
As crazy as it sounds, the San Antonio Spurs have won three straight games for the first time since November. Mitch Johnson has done a great job keeping his young team energized and in the fight despite all that has gone wrong this season. The Spurs could continue to play the role of spoilers down the stretch run, especially with four playoff-contending teams on their schedule this week.
Coming up: Tues. 3/25 at Detroit Pistons; Thurs. 3/27 at Cleveland Cavaliers; Sat. 3/29 vs. Boston Celtics; Sun. 3/30 vs. Golden State Warriors
Prediction: 1-3 — This is where the schedule heats up for remainder of the season, and you might need to shelve those postseason hopes until we see further evidence that this team can consistently hang with opponents who have something to play for and a good-to-great frontcourt. The Spurs only have three remaining games against teams with losing records, and none of them are this week. They could continue to surprise us, but they’ll need the offense to stay where it’s been while bringing the defense along for the ride.
