In a weekly NBA Kia Rookie Ladder post, it was revealed that Stephon Castle is at the top of the ladder. This isn’t his first week in the pole position. In fact, the last time Castle was not in the lead, was mid-January.
He’s definitely shined, especially since the All-Star Break when he accrued accolades in multiple events and disciplines.
A lot of viable names have been listed in the ROTY race: Alexandre Sarr, Yves, Missi, Jaylen Wells, and Zach Edey all appear regularly.
Here’s hot take that caught me off guard.
Gilbert Arenas stated that “if Bronny James played 36MPG , he’d average 12PPG, 4RBG, and 4APG. He’d be top 5 for Rookie of the Year.”
