Wemby makes one fan’s night
We have seen as Victor Wembanyama has treated fans to a game-worn jersey immediately after the final buzzer sounds.
In one instance, a young fan approached Victor with a jersey and a marker. Instead of signing the tot’s memorabilia, he handed the young one the shirt off his back.
After Friday night’s game in Brooklyn, Wemby once again offered his uniform to a youngster, but this fan came prepared.

He had a poster board sign asking “Victor Wewmbanyama will you swap jersey(s) with me”
The video is adorable.
The two stood for photos, the young fan with a jersey that would hit the floor were he to put it on. Meanwhile, the kid’s jersey, the size of a car shammy, wouldn’t even go over the 7’3” Frenchman’s head.
The contrast is hilarious.

It’s another example of Wemby leaving his game on the court and recognizing his visibility, even in arenas packed with fans rooting for his opponents.
His imprint on the game, still in its larval stage, is undeniable. And his popularity is becoming more apparent with each road game.
Speaking of road games, the Spurs are in Minneapolis tonight. Tre Jones should have family in friends in attendance.
