Do you know of a non-profit here in Southwest Texas that could benefit from money toward updates and renovations?
Per a Spurs press release:
In partnership with Frost, Spurs Give is opening it’s Operation Renovation application for the 2024-2025 Season! This facility-based renovation grant strives to enhance facility infrastructures and provide our young people and families with safe places to play and learn. Two non-profit organizations in South and Central Texas will be awarded up to $100,000 to upgrade their facilities.
Spurs Sports & Entertainment continually invests in the community. By offering financial support, volunteer opportunities, healing and wellness, and a sense of belonging where we live, work, learn and play, the Spurs uplift the region for the greater good.
Here is the eligibility criteria and timeline for applying:
- Must be a youth-serving nonprofit organization, 501c3
- Must be located with a 150-mile radius of San Antonio, TX
- Must have an updated W9 and 990 or audited financials
- Grant funding is intended for facility improvements only
- Projects must be completed by June 30, 2025
- Improvements must be done within the $100,000 grant funding
- Application will be open from October 9th, 2024 - December 6th, 2024
- Grant recipients will be notified of decisions no later than January 15th, 2025.
