You know the new season is about here when the Spurs announce the Silver and Black Scrimmage! However, in a change from years past, instead of being before the preseason, it will be on Saturday, October 19, between the preseason finale on Oct. 17 and regular season opener on Oct. 24. Spurs fans are invited to the free 2024-25 Silver & Black Open Scrimmage, presented by Ticketmaster, at Frost Bank Center on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. The San Antonio Spurs will take the court for four 10-minute quarters, giving fans the chance to preview the team in action ahead of their Saturday, Oct. 26 home opener against the Houston Rockets.
