His promotion was announced along with Josh Larson, who becomes the Austin Spurs’ General Manager — a position previously held by former Spur Brent Barry before he accepted an assistant coaching job with the Phoenix Suns alongside Mike Budenholzer this summer. Mike Noyes, who spent the last six seasons with the Memphis Grizzles, was also announced as a new assistant coach and director of player development for the San Antonio Spurs.
