San Antonio Spurs reveal 2024-25 preseason schedule

A matchup between reigning Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama and runner-up Chet Holmgren highlights the Spurs’ 2024-25 preseason schedule, unveiled by the team Thursday morning.
The Spurs open preseason play at 7 p.m. Oct. 7 against Oklahoma City at the Frost Bank Center. That game will pit Wembanyama against Holmgren in a clash between last season’s two best rookies.
San Antonio will close out the home portion of its preseason slate that week with games against Orlando (Oct. 9, 7 p.m.) and Utah (Oct. 12, 7 p.m.).
The Spurs then hit the road for their final two regular-season tune-ups. They’ll face the Miami Heat at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Kaseya Center before returning to Texas to take on the Houston Rockets two days later at the Toyota Center.
Tickets for the preseason games went on sale today at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster and Spurs.com. All Spurs preseason games can be heard on WOAI 1200-AM with Bill Schoening on the call. Spanish language radio broadcasts of home preseason games with play-by-play announcer Paul Castro will be carried by KXTN AM-1350.
