Bonner said he was curious to see if Robert Horry retires or not, given that it will have a big impact on his potential minutes with the Spurs, and when I asked him how such a boy-scout troop like the Spurs might absorb J.R. Smith – less than a boy scout insiders would suggest – Matt said that the organization doesn’t really tolerate any mess, and than everyone pretty much falls in line behind Duncan, Ginobili and Bowen. If the rumours are true and Smith does end up in San Antonio and he fits in well that will be a major boost to the Spurs. That kid can flat score.
