Spurs, Thunder release final injury reports ahead of Game 4
As expected, De’Aaron Fox and Dylan Harper are available for Game 4 of the Western Conference finals, according to the Spurs final injury report issued Saturday night.
Spurs coach Mitch Johnson said earlier in the day Fox (right ankle sprain) and Harper (right adductor soreness) would be “ready to go” Sunday. The Spurs then made it official with their injury report.
The Thunder, meanwhile, will be without Ajay Mitchell, who started in Game 3 in place of Jalen Williams at forward, due to a right calf strain.
Williams is listed as questionable with a sore left hamstring, the injury that forced him to sit out the Thunder’s 123-108 win in Game 3 on Friday night at the Frost Bank Center.
Mitchell, who had two points and five rebounds in Game 3, has started seven of the Thunder’s 11 playoff games while Williams nursed his hamstring injury.
A second-year player, Mitchell finished fifth in Sixth Man of the Year voting, which Spurs forward Keldon Johnson won.
The Thunder hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game 4 is set to start at 7 p.m.
