[pic.twitter.com/JttW56oeHg](https://t.co/JttW56oeHg)

I don’t know if any of you guys have kept an eye on the Suns but Coach Jordan Ott has been doing almost miraculous stuff out in the Valley of the Sun. Last night they beat the best team in the East, Detroit, by double digits in a game where Devin Booker didn’t play a single minute (out with an ankle injury). They’ve won 14 of their last 20 games, and have gone 28-15 since their 1-4 start.
> >

Shockingly enough, he’s accomplished all this despite the purported biggest incoming asset of the Durant trade (Jalen Green) only scoring at about half the rate he did in Houston, and the two new lottery pick selections (Khaman Maluach and Rasheer Fleming) only producing a _combined_ 3.5 points and 2 rebounds per game!

Which means that he could return to from injury after missing about a month perhaps tonight, but certainly this week. The Nuggets have done really well while Jokic was out with injury, holding onto third place in the West. It’s going to be really hard for the Spurs to hold onto the second spot with the Nuggets at full strength, but I’d be tickled by a top 4 finish in the west at the end of the season.
