Spurs To Sign Theo Ratliff, Add Another Veteran Big Man

The roster moves continue for the San Antonio Spurs. NBA sources confirming to News 4 WOAI’s Don Harris that the Spurs have come to an agreement with veteran shot blocker Theo Ratliff. The 36 Year old center only played in 46 games with Philadelphia last year averaging about 13 minutes per game. He will be a nice addition as a 3rd center for the Spurs and can still defend in the low post and is still a very effective shot blocker who can defend the longer, bigger centers in the west. Ratliff likely won’t play big minutes for the Spurs but can be an effective back-up if his health holds up. Ratliff is a 14 year NBA veteran who has played with 6 teams including the Pistons, Hawks, Sixers and Blazers.

进攻早已荒废不说
也完全没有策应能力

他会成为C位上的第三人，能贡献一些盖帽，保护好低位就行了

我不认为邦纳会被交易
从技术上来看拉特里夫不符合马刺的要求

Timvp:
Spurs need shotblocking. Ratliff is about five times the shotblocker that Oberto is at this point.
Plus, Ratliff is a lot cheaper. Apparently Oberto could get LLE money. Most of Ratliff’s contract will get paid by the NBA.

簽了代表一件事情

1.前場好擠有人要被送走了
2.roster好擠但我們還需要一把後場鎖

Ratliff這位仁兄過去有相當好的蓋鍋能力
但由於七六人後來整體打法的改變跟他本身傷病與年紀因素使身手下滑
連Dalembert目前再七六人體系裡面都未能有充分發揮的空間
七六人可還是有個E.Brand呢

馬刺簽下他估計要省錢為什麼呢
簽他不需要花大錢然後送走我們目前爆滿的roster名單裡面一兩人
就可以達到省錢目的之後視情況來補強最後這個後場大鎖的部份
也把roster的狀態調整到剛好一方面戰力足人手足
馬刺有望重現鋼鐵防守了只要找到後場大鎖的部份
